Create your account and set up Cadence with the onboarding wizard.

Creating Your Account

Setting up Cadence takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to create your account:

  1. Sign up with your email address on the registration page.
  2. Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.
  3. Set a secure password for your account.

Every new account includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features, so you can explore everything Cadence has to offer before committing.

The Onboarding Wizard

After creating your account, the onboarding wizard walks you through setting up your financial profile in seven steps:

  1. Welcome — A quick introduction to Cadence and what to expect.
  2. Income Sources — Add your salary, freelance income, or any other recurring income.
  3. Bills & Subscriptions — Enter your recurring expenses like rent, utilities, and subscriptions.
  4. Budget Categories — Set up spending categories and assign monthly limits.
  5. Accounts & Assets — Add bank accounts, investments, and other assets to track your net worth.
  6. Goals — Define savings goals or debt payoff targets to stay motivated.
  7. Review — Review everything you entered and make any final adjustments.
Tip: Every step in the onboarding wizard can be skipped and completed later from its respective section in the app. Don't feel pressured to fill everything out at once.

Next Steps After Onboarding

Once you finish the wizard, you'll land on your Dashboard. From there, here are a few things to explore:

  1. Take a look around the dashboard to see your financial snapshot, charts, and widgets.
  2. Set up your budgets to start tracking your spending against targets.
  3. Connect your bank accounts to automatically sync transactions and account balances.
