Insight Cards

Cadence generates insights based on your financial data. Each insight falls into one of four types:

  • Alerts — Potential issues that need your attention, like overspending or unusual activity.
  • Achievements — Milestones you've reached, such as hitting a savings goal or staying under budget.
  • Recommendations — Suggestions for improvement based on your spending patterns.
  • Optimizations — Ways to save money or allocate your budget more effectively.

Acting on Insights

Each insight card may have an action you can take directly from the card. Dismiss insights you've reviewed to keep your feed fresh and focused on what matters most.

Suggestions

Cadence detects patterns in your spending and suggests recurring bills or budget adjustments. When a suggestion appears, you can accept it to apply the change, or dismiss it if it doesn't apply to you.

Tip: Review suggestions regularly. Cadence learns from your transaction history, so suggestions become more relevant over time.

Budget Performance Reports

The Budget tab on the Insights page gives you a comprehensive view of your spending performance, including:

  • Charts showing your spending trends over time.
  • Performance cards for each budget category.
  • A spending breakdown pie chart.
  • A bills summary with upcoming and recent payments.
  • A full transaction list for the selected period.

Net Worth Reports

The Net Worth tab shows your net worth trend over time, plus multi-line charts showing individual asset histories so you can see how each asset contributes to the bigger picture.

For more on tracking assets and liabilities, see the Net Worth article.

Goals Tab

The Goals tab shows all your financial goals and their progress in one place. Track savings targets, debt payoff milestones, and other objectives alongside visual progress indicators.
