Insights & Reports
View insights, suggestions, budget performance, and net worth reports.
Insight Cards
Cadence generates insights based on your financial data. Insights come in several types, including:
- Alerts— Potential issues that need your attention, like overspending or unusual activity.
- Achievements— Milestones you've reached, such as hitting a savings goal or staying under budget.
- Recommendations— Suggestions for improvement based on your spending patterns.
- Optimizations— Ways to save money or allocate your budget more effectively.
You'll also see forecasts, comparisons, and milestone insights as Cadence spots them in your data.
Acting on Insights
Each insight card may have an action you can take directly from the card. Dismiss insights you've reviewed to keep your feed fresh and focused on what matters most.
Suggestions
Cadence detects patterns in your spending and suggests recurring bills or budget adjustments. When a suggestion appears, you can accept it to apply the change, or dismiss it if it doesn't apply to you.
Budget Performance Reports
The Budget tab on the Reports page gives you a comprehensive view of your spending performance, including:
- Charts showing your spending trends over time.
- Performance cards for each budget category.
- An Activity Breakdown chart of where your money went.
- A bills summary with upcoming and recent payments.
- A full transaction list for the selected period.
For details on setting up budgets, see the Budgets article.
Net Worth Reports
The Net Worth tab shows your net worth trend over time as a category-stacked area chart, broken down by asset category - Cash, Investments, Retirement, and so on - with sparkline cards for each category so you can see how the pieces contribute to the bigger picture.
For more on tracking assets and liabilities, see the Net Worth article.
Where Goals Live
Goals now have their own top-level page rather than a Reports tab, so the Reports page has exactly two tabs: Budget and Net Worth.
For details on creating and managing goals, see the Goals article.
